IMPORTANT: All Cattle yearlings and over must be TB tested within the preceding 12 months and a copy of their test certificate must accompany entry form. Exhibitors are requested to state if the animals are entered in more than one class and section. Also to state the number of animals entered, so that the correct number of stalls can be allocated. All bulls over 1 year to be led by a ring through the nose and must be under adequate supervision. All beef female yearlings and over must be led by a nose clip (not ring) in Grand Parade.

Judging criteria - ability to control, handle and present the animal with recognition for stockmanship and self presentation. The animal is not judged. Entrants in Junior Herdsperson do not need to own the animal. Only one entry per person. The name of the Herdsperson MUST be on the entry form. All contestants must use nose clips on their animals.

with or be eligible for registration within the NZ Highland Cattle
